Evaluation of the eGovernment Action Plan

The website presents the current state of the implementation of the EU eGovernment Action Plan 2011-2015 in the Member States and European Commission.
The eGovernment Action Plan 2011-2015 supports the provision of a new generation of eGovernment services for businesses and citizens. It contributes to a knowledge based, sustainable and inclusive economy for the European Union, as set forth in the Europe 2020 Strategy. It supports and complements the Digital Agenda for Europe. You can find more information in the eGovernment Action Plan.

Member States and the European Commission present here their progress made on each of these 45 Actions in four Priority Areas:

If you interested in the progress of a Member State go to the Member States page, you can also see the progress of the European Commission Actions or browse the result per each of the Actions. You can also have a more horizontal view thanks to the Dashboard and the Actions Dashboard. Member States representatives can add and update the Member States data here. We welcome as well external contributions. If you would like to share with us a country, regional or local-level initiative relevant for one of the eGovernment Action Plan Actions, you can do it via the online form.

The website was also foreseen as a communication tool in the cooperation between Member States and the European Commission on the assessment of the progress of the EU eGovernment Action Plan 2011-2015. The data will be also used for the Final Evaluation of the EU eGovernment Action Plan 2011-2015..
