Do you have an Open Data portal? Yes http://data.gov.sk/ is the Slovakian open data portal that provides access to national data sets.
Are the data contained in such open data portals reusable for commercial and non-commercial purposes? Yes The data are available for free re-use however the licencing policy will be significantly improved in the near future.
Do you provide online access to information on government laws and regulations via an open data portal or other means? Yes The data are available at https://www.slov-lex.sk/domov and through the public sector's institutions websites, what is obligatory for public sector institutions.
Do you provide online access to information on policies? Yes Information on policies, which was approved by the Government are available at http://www.rokovania.sk/Rokovanie.aspx It is obligatory for public administrations according to the Act on Free Access to Information to publish information on policies. Before approval of the policies the drafts are going into the public consultation process with stakeholders according the Unified Metodology. The Unified Methodology includes an assessment of financial, economic and environmental impacts, as well as impacts on employment and the information society of proposed legislative and non-legislative materials.
Do you provide online access to information on government finance? Yes It is obligatory for public administrations according to the Act on Free Access to Information to provide online access to their budget, namely to the draft and spending of budget. The information on government finance are available also as open data.
