Member States will ensure that a ‘second generation’ of points of single contact will function as fully fledged eGovernment centres beyond the requirements and areas covered by the Services Directive.

Does the Point of Single Contact cover all the services foreseen in the Service Directive? No At the moment PSC Finland covers 125 procedures but some of the most infrequent procedures covered by SD are still missing.
Can all the administrative processes be done through the Point of Single Contact? No At the moment only one-way interaction is available. Most application forms can be downloaded and printed and then returned by post or email. Full case handling will become available in some procedures during the year 2013.
